Channels are Youtube playlists I've curated that are inspired by music video programs
like rAwTiMe and MTV. Though some are genre or artist specific, these channels are mostly
designed to have a specific theme or vibe.

Each channel will have a description with its dominating artists and genres! So, if you
are finding it hard to look for channels that matches your mood, just use cmd+F as a search!

!! Note: An asterisk * next to artists or genres means that they aren't important or dominant. The playlist is about
the feelings and vibes more than anything else. But they are still written so you can have an idea of what to expect.

Slower songs that remind me of cold autumn nights;
when feeling a little jaded and nostalgic. When you're
in between endings and beginnings.

Artists: Mazzy Star, The Sundays, Slowdive
Genres: Dream Pop, Shoegaze, Alt Slow Rock

c2

These songs make me think about feeling nothing,
yet everything at the same time. Like fucking around
with a bad crowd because you want something new
or different or exciting or distracting--something.
Sometimes anger just feels easier.

Artists: Fleshwater, Momma, Title Fight
Genres: Post-Hardcore, Alt Rock, Alt Metal

I'm 20 right now, and even though its only been 3
years, sometimes I find myself missing being 17.
Not that I romanticize whatever struggles I had at
the time, but there's something magical about being
young and naive, and experiencing things for the first
time.

Maybe I just wish I could go back and do more, but it
was during the pandemic, and there really isn't much I
could change. I just wish I had been happier.

*Artists: Current Joys, Dr. Dog, Ritt Momney
*Genres: Indie Rock, Alt Rock

Baby bat is a term used in the goth subculture to
describe people who are new and are still discovering
the music. Remember, goth is a music-based subculture.
You do not need to dress gothic and wear white
foundation or tease your hair. Conformation isn't a
what goths are about. Focus on the music and don't be a
stuck up elitist.

This playlist is filled with classics from bands that
shaped the genre and songs that will help you get into
the music!

Artists: Bauhaus, Sisters of Mercy, The Cure
Genres: Goth rock, Post punk, Darkwave

Autumn is my favourite season of the year. It's warm and
nostalgic. It's the smell of pancakes drizzled in maple
syrup, the piles of leaves scattered everywhere, a
book in one hand and coffee in the other. But it's also
gloomy skies and rainy days. Fall is curling up under
layers of blankets, sipping dirty chais, and lighting
candles to think and think and think... (Ded. to C)

*Artists: Coldplay, RadioHead, The Cranberries
*Genres: Alt Rock, Britpop. Pop Rock

c6

If you're tired of everything and you're feeling like
you need an escape or a GOOD cry listen to these songs.
I promise they'll make you feel like you're floating
in space.

Artists: Deftones, Loathe
Genres: Alt Metal, Post-Metal, Shoegaze

I honestly don't know how else to describe this
collection of songs other than that it makes me want
to wear a cowboy hat. If baddies ran the a small wild
west town, it would probably sound like this. At least
in my world. Idk, I'm Canadian and this is the most
country I'll ever get.

Artists: Zella Day, Cruel Youth, Alexandra Savior
Genres: Indie Pop, Synth Pop
